I am excited to apply for the Senior Product Manager role in EPAM. My experience in (1) SaaS products, (2) passion for data-driven decision-making, and (3) entrepreneurial mindset make me a perfect fit for this position.
(1) I have participated in the launch and scale-up of several SaaS products. In my current role in XWAY, I am responsible for Online Retail Monitoring tools that help sellers to sell more on various marketplaces (AliExpress, Amazon, etc). Through various Conversion Optimization Activities, I was able to increase CR for connecting the seller's shop account by 30%(a critical step in the funnel) and CR in paying users by 12%. To do so I analyzed cohorts based on user acquisition sources and identified their onboarding funnels separately, which enables me to notice that various cohorts have different barriers to using our product.
When I was working in Bafsy, I was responsible for the development of SaaS product that was focused on enabling FMCG companies to engage and communicate with their consumers through various digital activations. Under my supervision, we launched 2 new product streams - Customer Data Platform and Promo-engine. This helped us to land two major clients from FMCG and upsell this functionality to smaller businesses.
(2) Running Digital Marketing campaigns in Heineken or improving the user onboarding process in XWAY, I always rely on data both before designing the experiment and after - for measurement of results. In Heineken, I was responsible for Sales Uplift model development. It enables us to measure how various digital campaigns and activations influenced real sales.
(3) I tend to prioritize features based on business impact and always focused on testing product hypotheses in the fastest and most cost-effective way. When I was testing the hypothesis that seller notification system will increase product value and thus increase user retention I created a chat bot and later an app on Adalo to launch testing ASAP and with minimum impact on developer's resources.
I have an executive MBA (which I finished with great distinction). This business knowledge is rather useful for scale-up companies when there is a need to put in place new business processes. In XWAY I developed an evaluation process for launching new initiatives. As part of the process, a basic Business Case has to be created with cost/pay-off analysis.
I would be happy to discuss my qualifications in more detail. Please feel free to contact me to set up a time to chat. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best Regards,
Stepan Fedorov
